Ramadan 2019 Goals
With the upcoming New Year, many people will be busy making a list of resolutions. More often than not, these resolutions help people focus on their own health, lifestyle or personal goals, as they make a commitment to lose weight or save more money. This New Year though, why not resolve to help others, with the aim of doing more good and helping people in need?
There are so many ways we can help someone in need, be it by way ofÌýsponsoring an orphan, donating towards an emergency appeal or even volunteering your time. Together, there are so many things we have the power to change across the world, and even here on our very own doorstep.Ìý
Ramadan 2019
Before we know it, the blessed month of Ramadan will soon be here again. Many of us will find ourselves stocking up for suhoor and iftar meals, booking time off for the Holy month and working our daily schedules around the Ramadan timetable.
We will prepare for this prestigious month from the warmth and comfort of our own homes, but there are millions of people out there who do not even know where their next meal will come from, let alone how they will be planning to open their fast during Ramadan.
Your World...
Wherever you live in this world, there will always be worries and concerns to stress over. These worries are usually based on things like finances, family problems and grievances, planning your next holiday or which car to buy next; all valid and real concerns for many people…
Their World…
For so many people though, all around the world, these everyday worries are a luxury they can only imagine. Due to conflicts and incidents outside of their control, sadly, there are many people – including a vast number of children – who must deal with losing their homes, their families, their belongings, and so much more.
Make a Difference This Ramadan and Beyond with 51Æ·²è
Here at 51Æ·²è, we have a wealth of experience with helping those in need and we have many campaigns that help us provide aid where it matters most. With the generosity of our supporters, we can continue providing for those most in need thisÌýRamadan 2019, and beyond.
So many of us aim to give to charity on the Night of Power during the final ten nights of the Holy month, which is a night that holds great reward and investment for our Hereafter. While giving during the month of Ramadan is an obligation for all able Muslims, with necessary contributions such as fitrana (Zakat-ul-Fitr) in place, it is also good to remember that charity is an act we should always participate in wherever we can – for those we help feed during Ramadan will still be hungry during the days that follow.
Giving to charity in order to gain reward is one thing but giving to charity purely as a selfless act of humanity is quite another.

"Those who spend in charity, their goods by night and by day, in secret and in public, have their reward with their Lord: for them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve"
