Care for a child in need
On the authority of Ibn 鈥楢bbas (ra) who said, 鈥楾he Messenger of Allah (saw) said, 鈥淧aradise has a door which is called 鈥楬appiness鈥, only those who bring joy to children will pass through it.鈥濃 [Dailami]Every child deserves a safe, happy childhood and opportunities to help them build a bright future for themselves.
51品茶鈥 sponsorship programmes provide disadvantaged children with the care and support they need not only to survive, but to thrive, in childhood and beyond. At the heart of our sponsorships is education.
Our orphan sponsors provide schooling, free meals and medical check-ups, our Hifz sponsors give children in poverty the foundation of an Islamic education and those who support our children with disabilities are ensuring that they are provided with the specialised care and support they need to grow and prosper in challenging circumstances.
The Messenger of Allah (saw), himself an orphan, was the embodiment of kindness, compassion and respect towards children. As his Ummah, let us follow his example and support and empower some of the most disadvantaged young people in the world.
Sponsor an Orphan
鈥淏lessed is the wealth of the Muslim, from which he gives to the poor,听the orphan and the wayfarer.鈥 (Muslim)
There are an estimated 200 million children worldwide that have experienced the loss of one or both parents. Many of these children will come from already disadvantaged backgrounds.
So losing a parent can mean that access to education, the protection of shelter, the sustenance of nutritious meals and the chance for a secure future all become an impossible dream. This is why the responsibility of care for the orphan falls on all of听us.
Who could be more deserving of our help than the child who has no听one?

鈥楾he best among you听are听those who learn the Qur鈥檃n and teach it鈥. (Bukhari)
Like all our education听projects, our听Hifz听sponsorship programme empowers听disadvantaged children with听the knowledge and听skills they need听for a brighter future.听Learning to read and听memorise听Qur鈥檃n will not only give them a beautiful foundation听to learn more about Islam, but also the听opportunity to share that knowledge as teachers and Imams in adulthood.
We are currently supporting children in Somalia and Pakistan who would not otherwise be able to study, giving them a safe space in which to learn and听qualified teachers to guide them.听
Students will begin their studies at the age of nine and the听programme听will typically take between three and six years to complete, depending on the child鈥檚 ability.听
Hifz Student SponsorshipSponsor a Child with Disabilties
Sponsor a child with disabilities in听Pakistan, Somalia or听Yemen, helping them and their families to navigate and overcome the obstacles they face now and in the future.听
Life for a child with disabilities is even more difficult in countries affected by poverty and conflict, but your sponsorship will ensure that a child receives tailored听educational support in a safe, loving environment. Children will also be provided with food and transportation, depending on their circumstances.
In areas, where even basic education and healthcare services are under strain, the needs of children with disabilities can be easily overlooked. Your donations will give them the love and support they need and deserve.
You can choose to sponsor a student attending Somalia's only deaf school, a child receiving free care and support for conditions like cerebral palsy in Yemen or a young person attending a special needs centre in Pakistan.

The Impact of Orphan Sponsorship in Pakistan
There are currently over听4.6 million orphaned children living in Pakistan. When a child loses one or both parents, their life is changed forever.
The breadwinner of the household and sometimes the only person earning an income has died and suddenly, their family is struggling even to put food on the table, never mind paying for an education.听听
Pakistan has one of the highest poverty rates in the world, sitting at 51.7 percent, according to the听International Poverty Index. So, when children become orphans, many have to leave school and enter the workforce or stay at home to help care for the household.
