Motherkind Somalia
Right now, 830 mothers a day are dying from preventable causes (WHO). Our Motherkind maternal health campaign provides women in Afghanistan and Somalia, two of the most high-risk countries around the world, with comprehensive聽pre-natal and post-natal care.
Our local clinics provide trained midwives, dedicated delivery suites, vaccination programmes, medicines and vitamins as well as awareness-raising sessions on everything from nutrition to hygiene.聽Our Afghanistan clinic alone assists around 360,000 people each year.聽
